Bright enough for outdoor use, the BM7 II DS 7" High-Bright Monitor with Wireless Camera Control and Sun Hood from PORTKEYS is a 1920 x 1080 display with support for up to 1080p resolution video. The BM7 II DS U features a maximum brightness of 2200 cd/m², a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a durable aluminum frame. The monitor's main feature is the ability to remotely control your camera via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or using an optional control cable, depending on your camera's model. It can also be used to control lens motors such as Tilta's Nucleus M/N. This model includes a sun hood and protective rubber case.
Support for 3D LUTs enables you to view your log footage in your chosen color space or palette. This monitor incorporates one 3G-SDI input, one 3G-SDI output, one HDMI input, one HDMI output, a 3.5mm headphone audio output, and a USB-A port used to load 3D LUTs or upgrade firmware. A 170° viewing angle enables off-axis viewing without color and contrast shifts.
The latest Cinenorm OS provides numerous image display tools, including custom pages and 26 tools such as waveform, histogram, focus peaking, false color, 3G-SDI-to-HDMI cross conversion, image flip, and selectable aspect ratios. You can power this super bright monitor via its dual Sony L-series type battery plate or from a D-Tap power source using the included DC cable. Four 1/4"-20 threads enable you to support the monitor from whichever side works best for each setup.
