The Samyang 12mm T3.1 VDSLR ED AS NCS Fisheye is a manual focus lens with fast maximum T number. It features 12 lens elements in 8 groups including 2 glass aspherical (ASP), and 3 extra low dispersion (ED) elements to produce high resolution results. Samyang’s Nano Coating System (NCS) is used to optimise the light transmission and minimise flare or ghosting. With up to 180 degrees angle of view, the lens delivers a smooth fish-eye distortion and the minimum focus distance of just 20cm allows creation of some dramatic effects. There are 7 aperture blades, designed to be almost fully circular, producing a pleasing bokeh in out of focus areas. A detachable, petal-shaped lens hood shelters the front element from stray light for clear and sharp images
